Description: Deep straw yellow with golden highlights, with lifted aromas of nashi pear,
nectarine and melon with hints of mediterranean scrub and ocean breezes. On the palate it is round and smooth with creamy and savoury interplaying with each other and a long and enduring finish that is reminiscent of the sea.
Winemaking: Grown on vines over 20 years old, the grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel to preserve their delicate aromas. Aged on its lees in a combination of both oak barrels and stainless steel for over 6 months.
Sommelier’s Selection: Sardegna’s nod to Burgundy with vibrant acidity and rounded body from some aging in oak vessels. This wine is perfect for someone who enjoys a lightly oaked Chardonnay and can be enjoyed with seafood pasta dishes like Spaghetti with QLD Rockliff spanner crab, lemon and Pilu bottarga.
